Trips and Rates
These are
just a few of the highlighted trips that we take people on but we are designed around versatility and personalized service.
That means where you want to go, when you want to go with no waiting. If there is a river or stream you want to get on give
us a call and we will plan something for you. We take you there.
Blue River
Trips Milltown
to Rothrock Mill: This trip is approximately
12 miles and can take from 3 to 6 hours depending on the water level and paddler enthusiasms. When the water is lower (under
2.5 feet) there are plenty of sandbars to pull over and picnic. This is a good trip with several areas of ripples and plenty
of deep swimming holes but can become crowded during the season. Pull out is marked with a large sign at the mill/DNR access
point. Rothrock Mill to Blue River Chapel: This trip is approximately 13 miles and can take up to 6 hours to
complete. This is my favorite trip on the Blue River due to almost constant ripples and plenty of seclusion. The river really
twists and turns through Crawford County's hill country. These turns provide plenty of ripples and great fishing for bass
and sauger. Blue River Chapel to Old Iron
Bridge: This is about 8 miles long and can
be shortened to around 6 miles by putting in at Stagestop Campground. This trip can be done in 4 hours or less and is also
very scenic and secluded. If you are looking for quiet and beauty this is a great trip for you. A few ripples will keep things
exciting and provide some great fishing opportunities. These are the different trips available on the Blue River. Overnight trips can be planned in advance by combining
these trips.
White River Trip Shoals to Hindostan Falls: This is a 16 mile trip and should only be considered if
you really love being on the water for over 6 hours. If you are that type of paddler then you will experience a great section
of this Indiana river. Great scenery, fishing, wildlife, and the falls at the pullout provide a great river experience. Bring
your fishing pole for catfish, bluecats, perch, small mouth, and drum as you make the run. Watch out for the huge jumping
carp, they can knock you out of the boat (no kidding). A fun run with water flowing year round.
River Trip rates:
River trips are $35.00 for a single person boat and $25.00 per person (2 person minimum) for a tandem kayak.
Our Tandem kayaks can carry three small adults or teens, or two large adults
and a child easily. They are very stable and offer a lot of fun for families and teens. We offer group discounts, call in
advance for those rates.
Patoka Lake Rates for Patoka Lake include kayak, paddle, pfd (lifejacket), and a comfortable seat. Patoka Lake has many boat
ramps available for dropping in. We will meet you at any of these designated areas including the park's small boat ramp

What you can do on
an AquaScapes Adventure at Patoka Lake:
- Get on the emerald green waters of Patoka
Lake and find a secluded cove out of reach of powerboaters.
- Paddle into the shallows around
stick-ups for some great bass action. We have kayaks outfitted for fishing.
- Take your entire
family on an adventure. Our single person kayaks have a jump-seat specifically designed for smaller children (less than 70
pounds) and our new Tandemonium Kayak is a three person kayak. Two adults and a child or three teens can easily fit.
- Get close (really close) to wildlife. No engine means no scared wildlife.
